Je hebt minimaal 4 jaar en maximaal 7 jaar ervaring met commerciële geschilbeslechting, en affiniteit met de bedrijfskundige en cijfermatige kant van het werk;
Je neemt geen genoegen met het eerste beste antwoord en onderzoekt actief alternatieven en creatieve routes;
Je hebt ervaring met het begeleiden van jongere advocaten;
Je hebt een ondernemende mentaliteit.
Wat wij bieden?
Een salaris passend bij jouw ervaring;
Een interessante bonusregeling;
28 vakantiedagen op basis van een fulltime dienstverband;
Ruime opleidingsmogelijkheden binnen ons Talent Development Programma, aangevuld met externe opleidingen zoals Grotius Academie (of vergelijkbaar);
Laptop, telefoon, reiskostenvergoeding en pensioenbijdrage;
Een internationale en dynamische werkomgeving;
Een hecht en professioneel team waarin hard wordt gewerkt, maar ook oog is voor de menselijke maat;
Een open, gelijkwaardige en inclusieve cultuur;
Een gezonde lunch, gezellige bedrijfsuitjes en kantoorborrels.

You will also play an important role in supervising and supporting junior lawyers.
Technical excellence, thoroughness and intellectual curiosity are essential. As you will be responsible for achieving the best possible outcome for clients on mid-sized matters, a pragmatic approach is equally important.
What you'll do
You will work on commercial disputes for domestic and international clients, with a particular focus on M&A disputes. These matters often involve complex accounting and financial reporting issues.
You will advise clients on complex legal matters, maintain close contact with clients and opposing parties, and collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas. You will also supervise junior lawyers in their day-to-day work and contribute to the continued development of the team.
The team
Our Amsterdam Dispute Resolution team comprises four partners, one counsel, associates, senior associates and trainee lawyers. The team has an open, collaborative and supportive working environment.

You will also work closely with colleagues in other practice areas, particularly Corporate/M&A and Insolvency. Our approach is flexible, hands-on and personal.

You will have:
Between four and seven years' experience in commercial dispute resolution;
An interest in the commercial, financial and numerical aspects of legal matters;
An inquisitive approach, looking beyond the first answer and actively exploring alternative and creative solutions;
Experience supervising and supporting junior lawyers; and
An entrepreneurial mindset.
What we offer
A salary commensurate with your experience;
An attractive bonus scheme;
28 days' annual leave based on full-time employment;
Extensive learning and development opportunities through our Talent Development Programme, supplemented by external courses such as those offered by the Grotius Academy or an equivalent provider;
