WHAT TEAM WILL YOU BE JOINING

This role is in our Human Resources Team which is spread across our London, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Dubai, Dublin and Warsaw offices, and supports the business internationally. The HR Team is made up of various smaller teams including, but not limited to, Learning and Development, Reward, Resourcing, HR Operations, HR Business Partnering and the Responsible Business team.

You will join the HR Data, Insights & Systems team in a hybrid role sitting between the two sides of the team. The role is designed to support both sides of the team, combining management information, reporting and insight with systems knowledge, process improvement and operational support. This position will work closely with colleagues across HR and the wider business to ensure that HR data, reporting and systems are aligned, effective and fit for purpose.

WHAT WILL THE ROLE INVOLVE
As an HR Systems and Data Analyst, you will work across HR Systems and HR Data & Insights, with a primary focus on supporting, maintaining and improving our HR systems, alongside producing accurate HR reporting and management information.

You will need practical HR systems experience combined with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large and complex HR datasets. You will use Excel regularly to manipulate, validate, reconcile and analyse data, investigate discrepancies, and produce recurring and ad hoc reports.
You will act as a key link between HR Systems and HR Data & Insights, ensuring system changes consider data and reporting requirements and that HR systems, processes and information remain accurate, efficient and fit for purpose.
The role combines systems, analytical and operational responsibilities. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, external suppliers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues and deliver effective systems and reporting solutions.
The following list is not exhaustive but gives a flavour of the responsibilities:
•    Support the day-to-day administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of HR systems.
•    Investigate and resolve systems, process and data issues, identifying root causes and coordinating solutions where required.
•    Gather and document requirements and support the configuration, testing and implementation of system changes and enhancements.
•    Contribute to HR systems projects, implementations, upgrades, releases and process improvements.
•    Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate HR processes through improved use of systems and technology.
•    Maintain HR data integrity through data audits, validation, quality checks and reconciliation.
•    Produce accurate recurring and ad hoc HR reports and management information using HR systems and Microsoft Excel.
•    Use advanced Excel functionality to manipulate, cleanse, combine, reconcile and analyse large HR datasets.
•    Develop and maintain clear, accurate and controlled Excel reports, templates and reporting processes.
•    Analyse HR data to identify trends, issues and opportunities and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
•    Maintain and enhance system-generated reports, dashboards and other reporting tools.
•    Work collaboratively with HR, Payroll, IT, external suppliers and other departments to deliver effective systems and reporting support.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Essential
•    Proven experience of supporting, administering or maintaining an HR information system in an HR Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, HR Systems Administrator or similar role.
•    Strong understanding of core HR processes and how they are supported by HR systems, data and workflows.
•    Experience of investigating HR systems issues and supporting system changes, enhancements, testing or implementations.
•    Experience of improving HR system processes and maintaining HR data quality, including auditing, validation and reconciliation.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with practical experience of using formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables and data-cleansing techniques to work with large and complex datasets.
•    Experience of producing accurate recurring and ad hoc HR reports and management information.
•    Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
•    Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain systems and data clearly.
•    A positive customer-service approach and the ability to prioritise competing requirements and meet deadlines.
Desirable
•    Experience of using or supporting Workday, including reporting, business processes, security, integrations or payroll-related activity.
•    Experience of HR-to-payroll processes, system integrations or data feeds.
•    Experience of Excel Power Query, Power BI or another data-visualisation tool.
•    Knowledge of SQL or databases.
•    Experience of HR systems projects, upgrades or data migrations.
